Day Two Recap of NYU Invitational

NEW YORK, N.Y. - On the final day of the NYU Invitational all four swimmers from Drexel swam in both sessions.
In the morning, Cameron Hoyer was third in the 200y freestyle with a time of 1:45.86, the time is a new season-best. Teammates Ryan DeMott and Ted Dickerson were sixth and seventh respectively in the 200 freestyle. Liam McLaughlin was second in the 100y backstroke with a 52.36, which is his fastest of the season.
The afternoon session DeMott and Dickerson were third and fourth respectively in the 500y freestyle. McLaughlin had another second place finish, this time in the 200y IM. Cameron Hoyer was seventh in 50y freestyle.
Up next for the Dragons are the CAA Diving Championships in Newark, Delaware on February 21 and 22 and the Swimming Championships in Richmond on February 25-28.

NEW YORK, N.Y. - All four of the men's swimmers swam on the first day in New York City for the Dragons.
Ted Dickerson was second in the 1650y freestyle with a 16:41.09, which is a season-best for the freshman . Dickerson was 11 seconds ahead of the third place finisher. Liam McLaughlin finished third in the 200y backstroke with a time of 1:51.18, which is new team and personal-best this season. He was just .15 behind second place.
Cameron Hoyer ended up 11th in the 100y freestyle with a time of 48.72. The time is the second fastest this season for Charlotte, North Carolina native. Ryan Demott was eighth in the 200y butterfly with a 1:59.29 is a new season-best and is the first time DeMott is under two minutes in the event.
All four swimmers will return to the pool tomorrow at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.
