Men's Tennis Adds Monmouth Transfer Daniil Ginzburg

PHILADELPHIA – Drexel Tennis has announced the arrival of Daniil Ginzburg to the men's tennis team as part of the 2015-16 incoming class.
Ginzburg makes his way to University City after two seasons at Monmouth.
The Moscow, Russia native is 5-3 career in singles play and 3-1 in doubles play. In 2014-15, he earned singles wins over Sacred Heart and Rider for the Mountain Hawks. As a freshman in 2013-14, Ginzburg compiled a 3-3 mark in singles play, which included over Lafayette and St. Francis (N.Y.).
Prior to college, the 6-foot-2 Ginzburg spent his graduate year training at the IMG Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Bradenton, Fla. He also competed in International Tennis Federation Junior and Pro Circuit events. Ginzburg attended PS 1384 in Moscow.
Ginzburg joins Buffalo transfer Balaji Lakshmanan as well as freshmen Sinan Orhon and Andrew Sinai in the 2015-16 incoming class. Read about them here.
