No. 9 Men’s Squash Sweeps No. 15 Middlebury

MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – The No. 9 Drexel men's squash team (5-2) won its second match in two night as the Dragons swept No. 15 Middlebury in Vermont on Friday evening by a final of 9-0.

The Dragons won seven of the nine matches in three games to capture their fifth win of the season.

Bransten Ming, Omar El Atmas, Michael Thompson, Luke Willemse, Joshua Hughes, Mostafa Aboul Makarim and Noel Solomon all defeated their Middlebury counterparts in straight games.

Freshman Lucas Rousselet and junior Cillian Dunne each took down their opponents in four games. Rousselet won the first game before dropping the second as he then took the third and fourth. Dunne found himself in a 0-1 hole before winning the second, third and fourth for the victory.

The men close out the 2016 portion of their schedule at No. 18 Williams in Williamstown, Mass. tomorrow, Saturday December 3 at 1 p.m.
