No. 10 Women’s Squash Falls to No. 7 Columbia on Senior Day

PHILADELPHIA – The No. 10 Drexel women's squash team (9-6) fell to No. 7 Columbia (6-5) on senior day on Saturday afternoon from the Kline & Specter Squash Center in the final home match of the year by a final of 7-2.
Sophomore Ryan Morgan earned a No. 3 spot win for her fourth-straight victory. Morgan defeated Reyna Pacheco of the Lions, 11-7, 11-4, 11-4, for her eighth sweep on the year. The Bryn Mawr native is 4-0 from the No. 3 position and owns an 11-4 individual mark on the season, tied for the best record on the team with freshman Fiona Power. Morgan is one win shy of tying her total from last season when she went 12-10 as a freshman.
Junior Elisa Money turned in the second win for the Dragons from the No. 5 position. Money downed Columbia's Catherine Jenkins, 11-6, 11-9, 9-11, 11-6, for her fourth-straight victory as well. The British Columbia native moves to 9-4 on the campaign and 3-0 from the No. 5 spot.
The Dragons will now prep for nationals in New Haven, Conn. from Friday, Feb. 26 through Sunday, Feb. 28.
