Golf Plays at Towson Invitational this Weekend

GRASONVILLE, Md. - The Drexel golf team, fresh off a spring break trip that took them to North Carolina and California, is back in action on the East Coast this weekend. The Dragons will play in the 15-team Towson Invitational hosted by Towson University. The event will take place at the Prospect Bay Country Club in Grasonville, Maryland.
The Towson Invitational is a 36-hole event, with 18 holes being played on Saturday and Sunday at Prospect Bay. The Country Club is a 6,530-yard par-72 course. Joining Drexel in the field will be Bethune-Cookman, Bryant, Fairfield, Fairleigh Dickinson, Georgetown, Long Island, Rider, Robert Morris, Sacred Heard, Siena, St. John's, Saint Anselm, St. Francis, Pa. and the host Tigers.
The Dragons returned home early Wednesday morning after finishing fourth in the 10-team field at the Anteater Invitational in Irvine, Calif. Christopher Crawford tied for second in the event while Aaron Fricke fired a two-under-par 70 in the final round and finished tied for fifth overall.
