CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Drexel softball team fell to College of Charleston in the 2016 season finale. The Cougars defeated the Dragons, 8-0 in six innings of play.
Senior Paula Ueno had the lone hit of the day for the Dragons. The Cougars struck first in the third inning as they took a 3-0 lead off of three hits and two errors. They added another run in the fourth as Taylor DuPree hit an RBI double to left field. It was in the bottom of the sixth that Charleston cemented its victory, adding four additional runs off of three hits and putting the run rule into effect with an 8-0 advantage.
