Kols and Sciulli Named to CAA All-Rookie Team

RICHMOND, Va. – Olivia Sciulli and Courtney Kols of the Drexel softball team have been named to the CAA All-Rookie Team.
Sciulli finished her freshman season batting .341 with a .468 slugging percentage and .394 on-base percentage. The Swedesboro, N.J. native totaled 43 hits, including six doubles and five triples, while driving in 13 runs and scoring 31 times. She ranked second on the team in batting average and hits, while leading the Dragons with 12 stolen bases. Sciulli also led the CAA in triples per game (0.11) and ranked 10th in the conference in stolen bases.
Kols anchored the Drexel pitching staff in her freshman campaign, posting a 21-17 record across 41 appearances with 39 starts. The Fountain Valley, Calif. native recorded a 4.00 ERA over 219.0 innings pitched with 106 strikeouts and 24 complete games. She led the CAA in innings pitched, games started, complete games, and victories, while ranking second nationally in innings pitched and complete games, third in games started, and ninth in wins.
