Men's Tennis Adds Jagtiani for Spring Season

PHILADELPHIA - Drexel men's tennis head coach Mehdi Rhazali has announced the addition of Sanil Jagtiani to the men's tennis roster for the spring season. Jagtiani will be a freshman upon his arrival with the team.
A native of Kolkata, India, Jagtiani was ranked No. 84 nationally in India upon arrival at Drexel. An AITA National Men's Tournament singles and doubles champion, Jagtiani was also a gold medalist in singles and doubles at the fifth Netaji Subhas State Gamees organized by the Bengal Olympic Association. Jagtiani went to Akshar High School in Kolkata, where he was twice recognized as the best athlete at the school. He was ranked as high as No. 247 in the ITF Junior Rankings, and simultaneously excelled in the classroom as a Roll of Honour student at Akshar.
Jagtiani and the Dragons will return to the courts on Jan. 19 for the first day of the VCU Invitational in Richmond.
