Kyle Bergman Selected to Israeli National Team

Philadelphia - Former Drexel lacrosse standout Kyle Bergman has been named to the Israeli Men's Lacrosse national team. The squad will compete at the 2018 FIL World Lacrosse Championships which will be held in Netanya, Israel.
The event will take place from July 12-21 and more than 50 countries will participate. It is the first time since the competition's inception in 1967 that Israel has hosted. In face, it is the first time a country other than the United States, Canada, England or Australia has hosted the Championship.
Bergman played at Drexel from 2009-2012. As a freshman, he was named to the CAA All-Rookie team. Berman was a Second Team All-CAA pick as a junior and then made First Team in 2012 during his final year. He finished his career with 39 goals, 61 assists and 100 points.
The national team's roster is composed of Israeli players, as well as members of the Jewish diaspora, in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL). In conjunction with the Israel Lacrosse Tzedakah Program, each player will be competing in honor of a charity of their choosing.
