No. 16 Women’s Squash Honors Four Seniors, Sweeps No. 20 Dickinson for 2-0 Weekend

PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel women's squash team (6-10) capped off a 2-0 weekend with a 9-0 sweep over No. 20 Dickinson on Sunday afternoon from the Kline & Specter Squash Center.
Drexel honor its four-graduating seniors before the match: Maria Diagama, Mary Fung-A-Fat, Kristine Giltvedt and Kaitlyn Money.
The four seniors each won their matches against the Red Devils to help the team towards the 9-0 victory.
Fung-A-Fat played from the No. 4 position and defeated Dickinson's Alanis Perez, 11-1, 11-3, 11-0.
Money, Diagama and Giltvedt held down the bottom third of the ladder, each grabbing wins in the No. 7 through 9 spots. Money took down Merritt David of the Red Devils as she only allowed two points in the win, 11-0, 11-0, 11-2.
Diagama defeated Patricia Francis-Hall, 11-6, 11-4, 11-1, while Giltvedt swept Meagan Dashcund, 11-5, 11-4, 11-3.
Drexel will now wait until official seeding is released for team nationals. Nationals are set in Princeton, N.J. this year from Friday, Feb. 24 through Sunday, Feb. 26.
