Dragons Look to Repeat as City 6 Champions on Saturday

GALLOWAY, N.J - The Drexel golf team will look to defend its City 6 Championship on Saturday in its final event of the fall. The tournament will take place at Galloway National Golf Club in New Jersey.
The Dragons will compete with La Salle, Saint Joseph's, Temple and Villanova on Saturday in an 18-hole event. Each team will have six players in the event, with the top four scores counting. The Drexel contingent will include Alex Butler, Stephen Cerbara, Jeffrey Cunningham, Angelo Giantsopoulos, Ben Pochet and Connor Schmidt. The teams will tee off at 10 a.m., with the first of the Dragons going out just after 10:30.
In last year's event, Drexel senior Aaron Fricke's made birdie on 18 to give the Dragons an one-shot victory. Drexel and Temple were tied heading into the last hole at the Union League Golf Club at Torresdale before Fricke gave Drexel the title.
