No. 9 Women's Squash Heads to No. 3 Princeton on Wednesday

PHILADELPHIA – The No. 9 Drexel women's squash team returns to action on Wednesday, Dec. 5 when it travels to No. 3 Princeton for a 6:30 p.m. match at Jadwin Gymnasium.
Last Time Out
Drexel started the week strong, defeating No. 10 Dartmouth, 5-4, before suffering a tough 9-0 loss to No. 6 Yale. The week then ended on a high note with the Dragons blanking No. 13 Williams, 9-0, to improve their record to 4-3 overall. Five Dragons went 2-1 on the week, including Hannah Blatt, Brooke Herring, Anna Hughes, Mariam Kamal and Ona Prokes. The weekend's most impressive matches came from Hughes and Prokes, who earned big time victories against Dartmouth.
Scouting No. 3 Princeton
Princeton swept all nine matches Saturday against No. 13 Williams to improve to 5-0 on the season. The Tigers won all matches in straight games, including the varsity season debut for senior Camille Price, who dropped only eight points in her win at the No. 9 spot.
It was a well-played finish to a road weekend for the Tigers, who also swept Amherst Friday night. The Tigers other wins come from Virginia, Stanford and George Washington.
Series with Princeton
Wednesday marks the seventh meeting between the Dragons and the Tigers, with Princeton leading the all-time series 6-0. Hannah Blatt, however, played an outstanding match last season against the Tigers to improve her record at the time to 6-1. She came away with a straight-game victory over Morgan Steelman at No. 4, 11-8, 11-5, 14-12.
