No. 3 Princeton Blanks No. 9 Women's Squash

PRINCETON, N.J. – The No. 9 Drexel women's squash team was upended by No. 3 Princeton on Wednesday evening at Jadwin Gymnasium, 9-0. With the loss, the Dragons record falls to 4-4 overall.
Despite the score, the match was highlighted by Ona Prokes in the No. 6 spot, who pushed her opponent, Emme Leonard, to five games, 8-11,11-7,11-7, 5-11, 11-6. Mariam Kamal also played an outstanding match. After losing the first game, Kamal quickly gained a 10-4 lead in the second game before being taken to extra points and losing it narrowly. Kamal played a strong third game, taking it before extending her opponent to extra points, however, Kamal could not win as Samatha Chai secured the victory.
Drexel will return to action on Friday, Dec. 7 when it travels to No. 2 Trinity with the men's squash team for a match beginning at 4 p.m. in Hartford, Conn.
