McIntosh Named to the Canadian World Team

OTTAWA, Ont. - Former Drexel great Ben McIntosh has been named to represent Canada at the upcoming 2018 FIL Men's Lacrosse World Championship in Netanya, Israel. McIntosh was one of 23 players to make the team that will be looking to defend the World Championship title.
McIntosh and his teammates will begin their quest to repeat on July 12. There will be 46 teams competing for the title. The U.S. and Canada are the only two countries to ever win the FIL Men's World Championship, with the Canada claiming the gold three times (1978, 2006 and 2014).
McIntosh, a 2014 graduate of Drexel is a member of the Saskatchewan Rush of the National Lacrosse League, along with fellow Dragon Robert Church. The Rush won the NLL Championship earlier this month.
