Women’s Swimming & Diving Receives CAA Team Academic Excellence Award

RICHMOND, Va. – The academic success of Drexel women's swimming & diving was once again recognized on Monday as the CAA announced the recipients of the Team Academic Excellence Awards for the 2018-19 season.
The Team Academic Excellence Award recognizes the institution with the highest collective GPA in all 22 sports sponsored by the CAA. The team GPA is a calculation of the GPA of each student-athlete who appeared on an institution's roster throughout the final day of their respective championship seasons during the 2018-19 academic year.
In addition to the 2018-19 CAA Team Academic Excellence Award, the Dragons were honored twice as a College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team following both the Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 semesters and 23 student-athletes received CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll recognition.
