PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel men's soccer team returned to Vidas Athletic Complex and hosted the Monmouth Hawks on Saturday afternoon. The Dragons scored early in the first half, while Monmouth tied the match at one in the second half to lock in a conference point for each team. The Dragons also celebrated the program's 75^th anniversary. In attendance were around 40 alumni and coaches whom all made impacts on Drexel University.

The Dragons were the team to strike first. After Harrison Coron played a ball into the box, Joshua Pulla headed the ball into the back of the net for his third goal of the season. Monmouth knotted the match at one in the 71^st minute. A ball that was played into the penalty box was seemingly caught by the Dragons keeper. But the ball was jarred loose, and the Hawks found a way to score the goal.

With the point for the tie, and before the Saturday night match between UNCW and William & Mary, Drexel moves into third place with 11 points.

Drexel returns to Vidas on Tuesday, October 18 to host the Penn Quakers on senior night. First tap is set for 5 p.m.
