Women's Swimming and Diving Finishes Day One of West Virginia Invitational in Second Place

Morgantown, W.Va.- The Drexel women's swimming and diving team completed day one of the three-day West Virginia Invitational on Thursday night. The Dragons finished with a total of three medal finishes on the first day.
Chelsea Gravereaux won gold in the 50 free with a time of 22.91 after swimming a 23.19 preliminary time. Gravereaux was also apart of the 200 free relay team, joining Lera Nasedkina, Delaney Leonard, and Megan Ehrnfeldt to win a silver medal with a combined time of 1:32.65.
The Drexel Women's Swimming and Diving team also won the bronze medal in the 400 medley relay with a final time of 3:42.92. The team consisted of Federica Nocera, Megan Sicinski, Megan Ehrnfeldt, and Chelsea Gravereaux.
The 200 Medley Relay, 100 fly, 400 IM, 200 free,100 breast, 100 back, and 800 free will be featured in day two of the West Virginia Invitational on Friday morning. Action is set to begin at 10 a.m. from Morgantown, W.Va.
