Women's Swimming and Diving Defeats Lehigh 196-98 in return to the DAC

PHILADELPHIA - The Drexel swimming and diving team hosted Lehigh in a dual meet that ended in Drexel's favor, 196-98.
Drexel started off the meet by finishing first in the 200 medley relay. The relay team of Aldercy Bui, Ewa Osiniak, Chelsea Gravereaux and Delaney Leonard teamed up and finished the race in 1:45.24.
Maddie Riley finished first in the 1,000 free with a time of 10:28.78.
Bui and Fede Nocera placed first and second respectively in the 50 back. Bui touched the wall in 27.21, and Nocera finished the race in 27.26. The duo then flip-flopped in the 100 back, as Nocera took first and Bui finished second. They had times of 56.75 and 58.37, respectively.
Chelsea Gravereaux showed her dominance in freestyle with a first-place finish in the 50 and 200 free events. The senior finished the 50 breast in 23.81 and touched the wall in 1:53.18 in the 200 free.
Megan Ehrnfeldt got on the board with a first-place finish in the 100 free, touching the wall in 52.49. Ehrnfeldt also finished finished in the 100 fly with a time of 56.34, along with a second-place finish in the 100 IM.
In the 500 free, Riley and Emma Flickinger took the top two spots, with Riley finishing first. Riley finished with a time of 5:11.65 and Flickinger had a time of 5:12.28. Then, it was Ewa Osiniak and Megan Sicinski who finished one-two in the 100 breast. Osiniak finished with a time of 1:06.09 and Sicinski clocked in at 1:06.30.
The Dragons wrapped up the meet by finishing first in the 200 free relay. The relay team of Lera Nasedkina, Olivia Scherbin, Megan Ehrnfeldt, and Chelsea Gravereaux finished with a time of 1:37.82.
The Dragons return to the DAC on Jan. 7 to host conference rivals, Delaware. The meet also will be Drexel's Senior meet. Action is set to kickoff at 10:15 a.m.
