WILMINGTON, N.C. – The Drexel men's soccer team was defeated by the UNCW Seahawks on Saturday night, 2-0, in Wilmington.
Drexel and UNCW were locked at zero until the 53rd minute. UNCW finally broke through the Drexel defense and tallied the first goal of the game. The Seahawks added their second goal in the 64th minute. The Dragons took 13 shots, seven on target, while UNCW struck eight.
The Dragons return home to Philadelphia on Tuesday, September 20. Drexel will host Ivy League opponent Columbia at 6 p.m. at Vidas Athletic Complex.
