HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. – The Drexel men's soccer team was slighted by Hofstra Pride in 1-0 match in Hempstead, N.Y. on Saturday night.
Hofstra scored the night's lone goal in the 25th minute of the match. Ryan Carmichael found a way to get the ball past Drexel's keeper, Alessandro Capogna.
Drexel had a number of chances on the Pride's goal, taking a total of 13 shots, and putting five on target.
The Dragons wrap up their regular season on Wednesday as the team hosts FDU to a non-conference matchup. Drexel will also honor its six seniors prior to the match. Then, the Dragons will watch on Saturday as the rest of the conference completes their last matches to see where the Dragons will travel on Nov. 2. Drexel is currently in the No. 4 seed and can only fall to the fifth spot.
