Jesudason and De Sousa Complete Upset Victory Over Top-Seed at ITA Super Regionals

PRINCETON, N.J. – Alex De Sousa, Alan Jesudason and Hussein El Tawil of Drexel men's tennis completed on their time at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's Super Regionals, hosted by Princeton University.
Jesudason and De Sousa played in the first round of the consolation bracket and faced the top-seeded team from Columbia and also the 51st-ranked doubles team in the nation, according to the ITA. The team also featured a player who appeared in 2022 Wimbledon Boys Singles Finals and a pair that was ranked #4 in the Northeast Region by the ITA at the end of the 2022 season. The final score of their match was 8-5.
The Dragons return to the court on Nov. 3 to host the annual Dragon Invitational. The three-day event will start on Friday and conclude on Sunday, Nov. 5.
