Zelenak Named Head Coach for USA Masters Field Hockey 2023 Pan Am Championships

PHILADELPHIA - Drexel Field Hockey Head Coach Denise Zelenak has been named to the USA Field Hockey Masters coaching staff for the 2023 Pan Am Continental Championships. The O-60 Women's team will be coached by Zelenak, with Denise Gobrecht joining as Assistant Coach and Manager. The PACC, slated to take place December 6 through 14, is the inaugural Masters continental tournament for the Americas.
The Wilmington, Del. native has appeared in three outdoor world cups as a player and this will be her second as a coach. In the 2016 World Cup in Australia, she was the head coach of the O-40 and O-45 teams and scored in the bronze medal match to lead the O-45 squad to a shootout victory over South Africa.
