Women's Swimming and Diving Completes Day One of the CAA Championships

HAMPTON, Va. - The Drexel women's swimming and diving team completed day one of the CAA Championships on Wednesday afternoon.

The Dragons competed in the 800 free relay as Federica Nocera, Ewa Osiniak, Maddie Riley and Chelsea Gravereaux were able to place fifth with a time of 1:21.38. The Dragons also competed in the 200 yard medley and placed sixth as Aldercy Bui, Megan Sicinski, Megan Ehrnfeldt and Lera Nasedkina combined for a time of 1:41.04.

The 500 free, 200 IM, 50 free, three meter dive and 400 medley relay will be featured in day two of the CAA Championships on Thursday evening. The finals are slated to begin at 6 p.m. from Hampton, Va.

Schedule of Events

Wednesday: 200 medley relay, 800 freestyle relay, Men's one meter dive

Thursday: 500 free, 200 IM, 50 free, Women's 3-meter dive, 400 medley relay

Friday: 100 fly, 400 IM, 200 free, 100 breast, 100 back, Men's 3-meter dive, 200 free relay

Saturday: 1650 free, 200 back, 100 free, 200 breast, 200 fly, Women's 1-meter dive, 400 freestyle relay
