NCAA Wrestling Championships Brackets and Seeds Released

PHILADELPHIA – The NCAA released brackets and seeds for the Wrestling Championships Wednesday night. The event will be held next weekend, March 16-18 at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Okla. Mickey O'Malley, Evan Barczak, and Brian Bonino will represent the Dragons nationally in Tulsa.
Bonino is set to battle with the No. 8 seed, Matt Finesilver (Michigan) in the round of 32 and was selected as the 25th seed at 184 lbs. This is the graduate student's first appearance in the tournament after automatically qualifying in the conference championships last weekend.
Mickey O'Malley earned the 23rd seed in the 174 weight class and will face the No. 10 seed Rocky Jordan of Chattanooga. Last season, he was one win away from garnering All-American status at the NCAA Championships.
Evan Barczak received the 30th seed and the 165 lb graduate student is set to match up with the No. 3 seed Dean Hamiti of Wisconsin. Barczak finished 8th at the EIWA's and received an at-large selection to Tulsa.
