Women's Swimming and Diving Tops Towson 169-131 in Senior Day Matchup

PHILADELPHIA- The Drexel women's swimming and diving team defeated Towson 169-131 in Drexel's senior day meet. With the win, the Dragons improved their record to 3-2 in dual meets while Towson fell to 4-2.
The Dragons started strong, securing first place in the 200-medley relay. The relay team of Federica Nocera, Ewa Osiniak, Megan Ehrnfeldt and Chelsea Gravereaux came together to finish with a time of 1:44.70.
Federica Nocera had a trio of first-place finishes. Nocera placed first in the 100 and 200 back with times of 56.29 and 2:03.19 in each. Nocera also finished first in the 200 IM as she recorded a mark of 2:03.19.
Chelsea Gravereaux had a pair of first-place finishes in the 50 and 200 free, finishing with times of 23.46 and 1:51.60 in each. Megan Ehrnfeldt was another Dragon with two number-one finishes as she secured victory in the 100 free and 200 fly with times of 53.01 and 2:07.59 respectively.
Ali Bragg finished first in the 200 breast, hitting the wall at 2:24.22. Elizabeth McDevitt also placed first in the 100 fly as she put up a time of 57.44. Lastly, the Dragons placed first in the 400 free relay as Delaney Leonard, Megan Ehrnfeldt, Olivia Scherbin, and Chelsea Gravereaux teamed up to record a time of 3:30.19.
Up next, the Dragons gear up for the CAA Championships. The three-day event starts on Feb. 27 from Hampton, Va.
