
Men's Swimming Knocks Off La Salle In Season Opener

PHILADELPHIA - The Drexel men's swimming and diving team opened its season with a win against the La Salle Explorers on Saturday, 226-73. The Dragons finished first in 13 of the events on the day.
Theo Andreopoulos set a new pool record with a time of 48.87 seconds in the 100 back. The previous time was 49.97 seconds set in 2017. Andreopoulos also added a first-place finish in 100 free and 4x50 freestyle.
Nate Piccolo, Colton Wade, Sebastian Smith, and Theo Andreopoulos set a new pool record in the 200 Free Relay, hitting the wall at 1:22.41. This beat the previous record by .06 seconds.
