Drexel Selected to Host 2027 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championships at Lincoln Financial Field

PHILADELPHIA – Drexel University has been named as the host of the 2027 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championships at Lincoln Financial Field. It will be the seventh time that Drexel has hosted the event.
"We are looking forward to once again collaborating with the Philadelphia Eagles and PHL Sports to host the 2027 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championships at Lincoln Financial Field," said Drexel Vice President, Director of Athletics and Recreation Maisha Kelly. "Drexel is proud to host and have our brand tied to an event that historically draws more than 80,000 spectators into Philadelphia over the course of the weekend and brings national level competition, presenting a major economic impact on our city. We are excited to play our role in bringing a national spotlight to Philadelphia Memorial Day Weekend as the sport of lacrosse takes center stage."
The NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championships will take place over Memorial Day weekend and will crown three teams as national champions. On that Saturday, the Division I semifinals will be played. On Sunday afternoon, the championship games for both Division II and III will take place. The Division I title game will be held on Memorial Day afternoon.
Drexel hosted the last two NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championships, both won by Notre Dame. Drexel previously hosted the NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championships at Lincoln Financial Field in 2013, 2015, 2016 and 2019. The winners of those championships were Duke, Denver, North Carolina and the University of Virginia. Drexel also hosted the 2012 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Quarterfinals.
