Gavin Kelly Named First Team All-CAA

Luke Tomak and Collin Gucwa Named to Second Team
Philadelphia, Pa. – Drexel's Gavin Kelly was named to the Coastal Athletic Association's First Team, while Luke Tomak and Collin Gucwa were each named to the Second Team. In addition, Kelly and Pat Lyman were named to the CAA's All-Rookie Team.
Kelly had an outstanding rookie campaign in West Philadelphia. The Huntingtown, Md. native leads the Dragons with 16 assists and is second in scoring with 30 points. Kelly had a career-high five points on three occasions, including two in CAA play. He has had three or more points five times and handed out a career-best four assists in the win at Hofstra. Kelly is ninth in the CAA in assists per game heading into the postseason.
Tomak, a junior midfielder from North Haven, Conn., was named to the CAA Second Team for the second consecutive year. He is second on the team with 25 goals and is third overall on the squad with 29 points. Tomak has now been honored by the CAA in each of his three seasons. He was a CAA All-Rookie selection in his first season.
Gucwa has emerged as one of the team's leaders in the back as a junior. The Pottstown, Pa. product snared 15 ground balls in his third season with the club. He also caused five turnovers in 10 games this year.
Lyman, a defenseman from Thousand Oaks, Calif., has moved into the starting line-up as a freshman. He has played in 12 games and is second on the team with 13 caused turnovers. Lyman has also recorded 27 ground balls.
The Dragons will begin postseason play on Thursday afternoon at Towson. The winner will advance to the CAA title game against either Delaware or Fairfield.
