Men's Tennis Secures a 4-3 Victory Over Saint Joseph's

PHILADELPHIA – Drexel men's tennis secured a 4-3 victory over Saint Joseph's on Friday afternoon. The Dragons move to 2-0 to begin the season.
In doubles play, Alex De Sousa and Roman Lafond earned a 6-2 win over Othman Bezzaz and Ernesto Ruy, while Will Burridge and Hussein El Tawil matched that score against Justus Agbo and Santiago Valle. Tiago Lima and Josue Guzman completed the sweep with another 6-2 victory over Matthew Cizmarik and Matthew Dubas, securing the doubles point.
In singles, Drexel picked up three key wins to clinch the match. Alex De Sousa controlled his match, defeating Justus Agbo 6-4, 6-2, while Will Burridge followed with a 6-2, 6-4 victory over Othman Bezzaz. Roman Lafond delivered the deciding point, defeating Matthew Cizmarik 6-4, 6-2 to seal the win for Drexel.
The Dragons have off until February 14th where they will travel to take on Bucknell.
