Men's Swim and Dive Dominates La Salle in Season Opener

PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel men's swimming and diving team opened the 2025–26 season with a dominant 209–89 win over La Salle on Saturday at Kirk Pool. The Dragons finished first in 13 events, including both relays, and swept multiple individual races.
Theo Andreopoulos paced Drexel with three first-place finishes, taking the 50 free, 200 back, and leading off the 400 free relay. Sebastian Smith added victories in the 100 free and 100 fly, while freshman Matas Cinga impressed in his debut with wins in the 200 and 500 free. Drexel also swept the top three spots in the 1000 free, led by junior Kaan Akdag.
