PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Drexel field hockey earned a 2–1 overtime victory over Villanova on Sunday afternoon at Buckley Field. With the win, the Dragons improved to 9–6 overall and 2-1 in CAA play.

Before the match, the Dragons recognized six seniors — Phebe Herlocher, Marti Sanabria, Anna Castaldo, Sage O'Connor, Anna Getty, and Natali Foster — for their dedication to the program on and off the field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
After a scoreless first quarter, the Dragons struck first midway through the second. Anna Castaldo tapped in a rebound from close range to give Drexel a 1–0 advantage.

Villanova pulled even in the third on a goal from Colleen Finnan, and the teams stayed tied through regulation.

In overtime, Natali Foster delivered the game-winner at the 64:20 mark, finishing off a corner setup from Valentine Van Hellemont to seal Drexel's 10th win of the season.

Goalkeeper Halle Geiger made three saves in the victory, while the Dragons held a 19–8 edge in shots and a 7–4 advantage in shots on goal.
