PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel Dragons will travel to Washington D.C. to face the American University Eagles on Wednesday, December 3, at 7 p.m. The International Brotherhood of Electrical Worker's Local 98 is once again the presenting sponsor of Drexel Men's Basketball.
ABOUT DREXEL
The Dragons defeated the Morgan State Bears, 71-66, at the Hill Field House in Baltimore. Eli Beard led the team with 15 points. Beard also had two rebounds, two assists and a steal. Villiam Garcia Adsten recorded his second career double-double with 10 points, 10 rebounds and two assists. Shane Blakeney had 10 points, eight rebounds, four assists and for the third straight game, he blocked two shots. Drexel finished the night outrebounding Morgan State 41-27 and shooting a season high 80.8% from the free throw line. With the win, Drexel improved to 4-4 on the season.

The Eagles are 5-4 after beating Longwood on Sunday. Duane Simpkins coaches them in his third season at American. Junior guard Greg Jones was named the Patriot League Preseason Defensive Player of the Year.
