Reading Named to Conference Preseason Honorable Mention List

RICHMOND, Va. – Kylah Reading of the Drexel softball team has been named to the Coastal Athletic Association's Preseason Honorable Mention list, as announced by the conference on Tuesday afternoon.
Reading earned the recognition following a strong freshman campaign in 2025 where she was name to the CAA All-Rookie Team. She finished the season with a team-high .325 batting average while posting a .452 slugging percentage and a .379 on-base percentage. The Lenhartsville, Pa., native recorded 41 hits, including six doubles, two triples and two home runs, while driving in 22 runs and scoring 19 times.
Reading appeared in 44 of Drexel's 46 games during her rookie season, ranking second on the team in games played.
Drexel opens the 2026 season on Thursday, Feb. 6, at the UWG Opening Weekend in Carrollton, Ga. The Dragons will open the season with a doubleheader, facing Bellarmine at 9:30 a.m. before taking on Georgia State at 12:00 p.m.
