Men's Basketball to Host Stony Brook

PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel men's basketball team will continue its three-game homestand Thursday when the Dragons face the Stony Brook Seawolves. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. The International Brotherhood of Electrical Worker's Local 98 is once again the presenting sponsor of Drexel Men's Basketball.
LAST TIME OUT
The Dragons fell at home to the Hofstra Pride on Saturday, 70-67. Shane Blakeney had 18 points. Blakeney finished the night with four rebounds, three assists and a steal. Eli Beard had 12 points, three assists and two steals. Kevon Vanderhorst finished the night with nine points, four rebounds, two assists and two blocks. The Dragons took care of the ball, finishing the night with only three turnovers to Hofstra's nine.
ABOUT STONY BROOK
The Seawolves are 9-7 after a close, 81-80, win over North Carolina A&T on Saturday. Head coach Geno Ford leads Stony Brook in his seventh season. Graduate student Erik Pratt leads the team with 18.6 points per game.
THE SERIES
This is only the fifth time the two teams have faced each other, with the series tied 2-2. Drexel won their matchup last year, 67-51, on the road.
