Dragon of the Week: Knight and Lemongo

PHILADELPHIA – Owen Knight and Lorie Lemongo named the Drexel Dragons of the Week, presented by Rothman Orthopaedics, for the week of February 10th–16th.

Owen Knight, a member of the men's lacrosse team, recorded a career performance in Drexel's 15-8 road victory over UMBC. The sophomore scored a career-high four goals and added an assist for five points, marking the second straight game he set a new career best in goals. The Radnor, Pa. native helped the Dragons pull away with a dominant fourth quarter as Drexel scored seven goals to secure the win.

Lorie Lemongo, a member of the women's tennis team, set a program record for career singles victories in Drexel's 4-3 win over Stony Brook. The graduate senior earned a three-set victory at the No. 1 singles position, 6-4, 3-6, 6-2, clinching the milestone. The Dragons also defeated FDU, 6-1, on February 13 to finish the week 2-0.
