Men's Basketball to Host Towson Sunday on CBS Sports Network

PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel men's basketball team is set to host the Towson Tigers on Sunday. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. and the game can be found on CBS Sports Network. The International Brotherhood of Electrical Worker's Local 98 is once again the presenting sponsor of Drexel Men's Basketball.
In collaboration with IBEW Local 98, the first 500 fans attending Sunday's game will receive a voucher for a Mario the Magnificent Bobblehead. Fans with a voucher can redeem it at the conclusion of the game to receive the bobblehead. The game against the Tigers will also be Autism Acceptance Day and Dollar Dog Day, where all hot dogs will be available for just $1 through concessions, with the promotion running through halftime.
LAST TIME OUT
The Dragons wrapped up their two-game road trip with a 70-61 win over the Northeastern Huskies on Thursday. Victor Panov led the team with 19 points, tying his career high. Panov shot 70% from the field while pulling in seven rebounds, serving up a career high five assists, blocking a shot and stealing the ball once. Shane Blakeney had 18 points and dominated defensively: rebounding the ball seven times on the defensive end and stealing the ball three times. Eli Beard and Kevon Vanderhorst both had eight points on 3/5 shooting. The Dragons held the Huskies to 39% shooting on the evening. Drexel stole the ball eight times and blocked eight Northeastern shots on the evening. On the offensive end of the court, the Dragons outscored the Huskies 34-24 in the paint.

Towson is 14-13 after falling to Monmouth on Sunday. Pat Skerry leads the Tigers in his 15th year in Towson. Junior Tyler Tejada leads the team with 17 points per game.

The Dragons lead the all-time series 51-33. The Tigers won the previous matchup this season, 59-58.
