Drexel Falls to American in Regular Season Finale, 21-12

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Drexel wrestling team competed in their final regular season dual of the season on Saturday, falling to American in Washington, D.C., 21-12. The Dragons finished the season 13-7 with a 5-2 record in EIWA action. All four of the Dragons wins came via decision.
The Eagles opened the dual with three straight wins to jump out to a 10-0 lead. Jordan Soriano put the Dragons on the board at 141 pounds with an 8-3 decision. American responded by taking the next two bouts, extending its lead to 17-3.
Cody Walsh earned his 24th win of the season, the most on the team, as the 165-pounder picked up the Dragons' second decision of the day. Dom Findora followed with a decision victory of his own, taking down Hunter Hohman, 12-8. Ibrahim Ameer closed things out at 197 pounds, bouncing back with a 12-7 win.
