Dragon of the Week: Lemongo and Crawford

PHILADELPHIA – Lorie Lemongo and Witt Crawford named the Drexel Dragons of the Week, presented by Rothman Orthopaedics, for the week of March 10th–16th.

Lorie Lemongo, a member of the women's tennis team, helped Drexel to a 2-0 weekend with victories over Towson and Monmouth. The graduate senior earned straight-set wins at the No. 1 singles position in both matches, defeating Towson's Tambe 7-5, 6-0 before adding a 6-3, 6-2 win against Monmouth's Parikh. The Yaounde, Cameroon native also teamed with Adva Dabah to secure doubles victories in both contests as the Dragons picked up conference wins.

Witt Crawford, a member of the men's lacrosse team, recorded a six-point performance to lead Drexel to a 12-8 victory over Monmouth in the Dragons' CAA opener. The junior finished with four goals and two assists while adding two ground balls and two caused turnovers. The Alexandria, Va. native notched his fourth hat trick of the season as Drexel improved to 5-3 overall.
