Dragon of the Week: Bergmann and Crawford

PHILADELPHIA – Macie Bergmann and Witt Crawford named the Drexel Dragons of the Week, presented by Rothman Orthopaedics, for the week of March 17th–23rd.

Macie Bergmann, a member of the softball team, led Drexel offensively in its CAA series win over Stony Brook. The sophomore batted .500 (4-for-8) with a home run and four RBI across the weekend. The Philadelphia, Pa. native delivered a standout performance in the series finale, going 3-for-3 with a home run and four RBI to help the Dragons secure the series victory.

Witt Crawford, a member of the men's lacrosse team, recorded a six-point performance in Drexel's 13-11 win over Fairfield. The junior finished with three goals and three assists, marking his fourth hat trick of the season. The Alexandria, Va. native played a key role in multiple scoring runs as the Dragons improved to 6-3 overall and 2-0 in conference play.
