Men's Basketball to Compete as the 5 Seed in the CAA Tournament

PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel men's basketball team will begin the CAA Tournament on Saturday, March 7, against the winner of Friday's game between Northeastern and NC A&T. Tip-off is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. The International Brotherhood of Electrical Worker's Local 98 is once again the presenting sponsor of Drexel Men's Basketball. LAST TIME OUT
The Dragons fell to the Hofstra Pride on Tuesday, 62-51, in New York. Shane Blakeney led the team with 15 points. Blakeney shot 50% from beyond the arc, rebounded the ball five times on defense and stole the ball once. Victor Panov had nine points along with five rebounds, two blocks and an assist. Garfield Turner scored eight while pulling in two rebounds, blocking a shot and stealing the ball once. Drexel connected on 11 three-pointers on the night and won the turnover battle 14-11.
