Kols Named CAA Rookie of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. – Courtney Kols was named CAA Rookie of the Week following her performance in Drexel softball's three-game sweep of North Carolina A&T.

Kols led the Dragons in the circle with three complete-game victories, totaling 21.0 innings while allowing just three earned runs for a 1.00 ERA and striking out 11.

The Fountain Valley, California native opened the series with a complete-game shutout, allowing three hits over 7.0 innings with four strikeouts. She followed with two more complete-game efforts, allowing three total earned runs across the final two games as Drexel secured back-to-back 6-3 victories to complete the sweep.
