Dragon of the Week: Bontatibus and Tulio

PHILADELPHIA – Elena Bontatibus and Alec Tulio named the Drexel Dragons of the Week, presented by Rothman Orthopaedics, for the week of April 14th–20th.

Elena Bontatibus, a member of the women's lacrosse team, matched a career-high with eight points in Drexel's 15-10 victory over Monmouth. The junior recorded a hat trick and added five assists, including contributing to the Dragons' first three goals of the game. The Simsbury, Conn. native helped Drexel build an early lead and regain control late as the Dragons secured the conference win.

Alec Tulio, a member of the men's lacrosse team, scored a career-high six goals in Drexel's 17-13 victory over Stony Brook. The sophomore completed his hat trick early in the second quarter and added two ground balls in the win. The Blue Bell, Pa. native played a key role in the Dragons' offensive surge as Drexel secured the No. 2 seed in the CAA Men's Lacrosse Championships.
