RICHMOND, Va. – Alec Tulio and Lincoln Wall have both been rewarded with Coastal Athletic Association weekly awards for their performances against Stony Brook on Saturday. Tulio was named the Offensive Player of the Week, while Wall earned Rookie of the Week honors.
Tulio scored a career-high six goals on Saturday afternoon as Drexel defeated Stony Brook 17-13. The sophomore attacker completed his hat trick 30 seconds into the second quarter as the Dragons stretched out to a 7-3 advantage. Tulio also chipped in with two ground balls.
Wall netted two goals in Drexel's victory over the Seawolves this past weekend. After a 3-1 start to the game for Stony Brook, the first-year attacker found himself on the scoresheet twice in eight minutes to erase the Dragons' deficit and take a lead they never relinquished.
