Six Dragons Garner CAA Postseason Nods

RICHMOND, Va. – Six men's lacrosse players from Drexel have been awarded with CAA postseason accolades. Witt Crawford, Pat Lyman and Jack Nolan were named to the All-CAA First Team. Teddy Luthy and Brendan Donnelly were named to the Second Team and Lincoln Wall earned a spot on the CAA All-Rookie Team.
Crawford became the first Dragon since 2019 to tally more than 50 points in Drexel's final regular season game, scoring a goal in the first quarter. The senior finished the regular season with 34 goals, 17 assists and 51 points. Crawford's first appearance in the postseason awards was supported by seven hat tricks.
Lyman earned his second CAA postseason award after helping Drexel's defense hold opponents to just 8.71 goals per game. The junior snared 28 ground balls and eight caused turnovers.
Nolan's first career postseason honor comes on the heels of a season that featured 33 ground balls and eight caused turnovers. The long stick midfielder appeared in all 13 of Drexel's regular season game and helped the Drexel face off unit win 58 percent of the tries, which is second-best in the league and 15th in the nation.
Luthy's second team honor is also a career-first for the junior. The Norwalk, Conn. Native finished his junior season with 14 goals, 13 assists and 27 points, a season-high in all three categories. Luthy turned in two hat tricks and also finished with two goals and three assists against Hofstra.
Donnelly finished his junior season with a 9.98 goals against average, a league-high and 13th in the nation. The Audubon, Pa. native has saved 54 percent of the shots he's seen, ranking second in the league and 24th overall.
Wall represents Drexel on the All-Rookie team after scoring 10 goals and adding four assists. The Port Coquitlam, British Columbia native turned in tree multi-goal performances, including two against top-20 teams.
Drexel is set for the CAA Tournament, hosted by Towson. The Dragons will be the second-seeded team and will face the third-seeded Stony Brook Seawolves on Thursday, April 30. Action from Johnny Unitas Stadium is set 7:05 p.m. on FloCollege.
