2016: Made 44 appearances in her first season in University City…got the start 19 times…hit .222 from the plate with 10 hits…scored 15 runs and knocked in two RBI...a 2016 CAA Commissioner's Academic Award winner.
Background: A three-time All-County shortstop at Exeter Township Senior High...as a captain in her senior year she led the team in home runs, RBIs, runs, batting average, slugging percentage and doubles...led her high school team to county and district playoffs in 2012 for the first time in four years...went on to play softball at Hartford but saw limited playing time due to injuries...a three-time member of the America East Commissioner's Honor Roll...graduated Summa Cum Laude and earned her bachelor's degree in architectural engineering.
Personal: Daughter of Jennifer Hausman and Brad Okoniewski....has a brother, Will, and two sisters, Emily and Caroline...majoring in interior architecture and design on the graduate level.
