Was Drexel’s first forward off the bench…had two starting assignments…started in place of Elegar vs. VCU and had a season-high 11 points and five rebounds...came off the bench to score 10 points and was 8-for-8 from the line in CAA Quarterfinals vs. Northeastern…also started in place of the injured Chaz Crawford at UNCW and played 31 minutes...had four points and five boards in the win at Creighton...scored five points and had five boards in win at Northeastern...had a season-high eight rebounds in win at Temple...averaged 17.4 minutes per game...had eight points and was 4-for-4 from the line in upset of Villanova...played 30 minutes at Vermont and had eight points and four boards...chipped in with six points and three boards vs. Old Dominion...shot .800 (48-60) from the line and averaged 3.6 points and 2.6 rebounds...played for the Belgian Under-21 National Team during the summer of 2006.

Background
Arrived in the United States after growing up in Belgium…played on the high school championship team with Santa-Anna in Belgium…was the leading scorer in the city of Aartselaar, when he averaged 27.5 points and 14 rebounds as a senior…played center and both forward spots in high school…has only been playing organized basketball since 1997…is one of six children…son of Ibeyame Marthe and Jerome Kinga Oveneke...majoring in international area studies.
