2010-11: Top finisher in the 1000 yard freestyle with a time of 10:10.48 against Widener…stopped the clock at 10:14.28 in the 1000 yard freestyle at La Salle…placed second in 200 yard backstroke with a time of 2:06.27 at George Washington…earned Philadelphia Inquirers Academic All-Area Men’s Swimming and Diving Team Honors.
2009-10: Finished first in the 1000 free in the Dragons’ win against Bloomsburg by posting a 10:05.46, 21 seconds better than Bloomsburg’s top finisher…claimed a first-place finish in the 200 IM with a 2:00.64 to help Drexel take second of eight at the Swarthmore Invitational.
Background: Three-year captain at Randolph High School…led team to four district titles…named First Team All-Texas in the 100 fly and the 200 IM as a senior…named Second Team All-Texas in the 200 IM as a sophomore…member of the National Honor Society.
Personal: Son of Richard and Andrea Gindhart…majoring in electrical engineering.
