2010-11: Captured first place in 1000 yard freestyle with a time of 10:59.52 at George Washington.
2009-10: Recorded a 10:39.26 in the 1000 free to claim first place and help Drexel to a 140.5-101.5 victory over Rowan…notched a team second-best 500 free time posting a 4:52.15 at the Terrapin Cup Invitational…also recorded a 55.41 in the 100 back, third-best time on the team.
2008-09: Competed in distance events, breast and IM in his first season…posted team’s third fastest times in the 100 and 200 breast and 500, 1000 and 1650 free…set season-best in 100 breast of 1:05.83 at CAA Championships…recorded a 2:34.04 in the 200 breast in dual against Binghamton, his best time of the season.
Background: Earned All-American status in the 200 Medley Relay...finished as 2008 New York State Runner Up in 200 Medley Relay Class A section III 500 Freestyle Champion as a junior...led team to Class A section III championship as a junior...member of National Honor Society.
Personal: Son of Richard and Pamela Chaffee...majoring in political science.
