2015-16: Received the team’s Most Improved award at the squad’s season-ending banquet…Swam in five different individual events for Drexel in his senior campaign…Posted three of his best times on the year at the CAA Championships where he clocked times of 4:45.77 in the 500 free prelims, 52.47 in the 100 fly prelims and 1:57.62 in the 200 fly prelims…Also posted a top time of 1:46.13 in the 200 free at the Patriot Invitational…A CAA Commissioner’s Award winner.
2014-15: Swam in 10 different events on the year including the 100 freestyle, 200 freestyle, 500 freestyle, 1000 freestyle, 1650 freestyle, 100 butterfly, 200 butterfly, 200 medley relay, 400 medley relay and 800 freestyle relay…finished with six top-five finishes on the season.
2013-14: At the Cavalier Invitational, shaved off 3 tenths of a second in the 200 free, stopping the clock at 1:46.50…competed in the 200 free, 500 free and the 1650 free at the Frank Elm Invitational.
2012-13: At Cavalier Invite, drop three seconds off best 500 free, four seconds off best 200 free, and three seconds off best 200 fly.
Background: Three-time Regional Qualifier...named Outstanding Sophomore, Junior and Senior...received Rookie of the Year in 2009...also, and Eagle Scout...selected to the Honor Roll and earned National AP Scholar honors.
Personal: Son of Kember and Robert DeMott...majoring in engineering.
