2010-11: Placed first in the 3 meter with a score of 325.73 and third in the 1 meter event with a scored of 250.73 at La Salle … posted a score of 228.50 for second place in the 1 meter and captured third place with a score of 246.50 in the 3 meter event at Loyola … runner-up in the 1 meter event with a score of 264.40 against Delaware...placed fourth in the 1 meter event and seventh in the 3 meter event at the 2011 CAA Championship...finished 18th with a total score of 233.65 at the 2011 NCAA Zone 'A' Championship.
2009-10: Named CAA Men’s Diving Rookie of the Year by reaching the finals of both diving events at the 2010 CAA Championship…took sixth-place on the 3-meter board (281.70) and was eighth on the 1-meter board (256.90)…swept both boards in meets against George Washington and Villanova while winning the 1-meter dive at Rowan…also reached finals in the Terrapin Cup Invitational to claim eighth on both boards.
Background: Took fourth place at the Florida State Championships as a senior…USA Diving Junior Olympics National Qualifier in 2009…reached the finals on both the 1- and 3-meter boards at the AAU Nationals in 2008.
Personal: Son of John and Helena Cal…has two sisters who swam at Army…majoring in fashion design.
